I’ve created this page because I want to make a difference. We’re inspired by the work of Australian Melanoma Research Foundation and wanted to support them by raising money.
Mum was diagnosed with a malignant Melanoma in 2012 – most likely due to skin damage as a youngster. It was removed and closely monitored. Then, in 2018, she died of secondary Melanoma Cancer – It had sneakily hidden, silently returned and grew at an alarming rate. From confirming her diagnosis on the 3rd May 2018, it took just over 7 weeks before she quietly passed away on 23rd June 2018.
This year, instead of birthday presents or treats, I would really appreciate it if you could please help me help them by giving whatever you can by using the ‘Give Now’ button. Joe and the kids are all chopping(Annika) or shaving (Joe and Brechto) their hair as part of a Free-dress fundraiser at the Esperance Senior High School on 28th August 2020. Both Joe and Annika hope to have hair long enough to donate to “Hair with a Heart” so that it can be turned into wigs for other cancer patients that have lost their hair due to treatment.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
The more people that know about Australian Melanoma Research Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot! We encourage you to continue to slip, slop and slap to ensure sun safety!
