We are thrilled to have been chosen as the 2024 charity for the Echidna Australian Sewing and Embroidery Community Project commencing on 1 March to highlight awareness of melanoma. This is perfect timing as it coincides with Melanoma March coming up nationwide this month.
The aim of the Flowers in the Sun project is to create a symbol of hope and solidarity for all those affected by melanoma and to send the message that research is saving lives.
Creating Flowers in the Sun nudges us to remember the significance of being sun smart in our sunburnt country, and serves as a timely reminder to get regular skin checks.
